Rarely does a musician embark on a sonic journey with such radiant fervency like John Sanger has. A West Michigan-native, John has traveled the country and immersed himself in the experiences life has to offer. As a seasoned performer, John specializes in a wide variety of popular and original tunes that make his music a welcomed element to any occasion.


Matthew Fouts – Bass, Vocals
Matt Fouts
Matt has performed throughout Michigan, the Midwest, and beyond since 1996, playing bass in Domestic Problems, Fancy Thermos, Grasshoppah, and Karmic. Matt has experience performing a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, rock, fusion, blues, bluegrass, and folk.


Mark Landauer – Guitar, Vocals
Mark Landauer
Mark has played with original and cover rock, pop and jazz ensembles in and regionally around West Michigan since the late ’70’s.

Rolly Smith – Saxophones, Keyboard, Percussion, Vocals
Rolly Smith
Rolly has a wealth of experience performing throughout the region in various groups. In addition to The River City Stew, he can been seen performing with Java Jive, Chance Encounter, and Afro Zuma.

Tom Taylor – Drums
Tom Taylor
Tom has been playing drums for 30 years. As a result of his musical influences over those years, he has mastered many musical styles. Musicians and audiences have noted Tom’s precise style and commitment to detail. He has shared the stage with such performers as the Beach Boys, The Tubes, Edgar Winter Group, Alice Cooper, Mitch Ryder, Dick Wagner and the Frost, and Confederate Railroad. Tom is married with 2 children and works in the wireless industry.
